My name is Arthur! I am an Orange-Winged Amazon. I will say my name, good girl and wolf whistle at a person I like. I really enjoy my toys, especially the large fruit toys that CAARE sells in the store (they are my absolute FAVORITE!).  I love being part of a family and I love being held! I have even been adventurous and went for boat rides at the lakes. Like most Amazons, I can get quite loud and will not do well in apartments. I do tend to compete with other parrots by playing the game "Who can be louder?"

A pre-adoption, home visit by a member of our Adoption Committee is required for every adoption.  

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
