This is Powder!  She is an Umbrella Cockatoo and is around 17 years old. She is pretty shy and takes some time to get to know you. But once she knows you she is very friendly.

She will most likely be a one person bird and show aggression to other family members. This is quite common in parrots.

Like most Cockatoos, Powder can get very loud and could not live in an apartment.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND.

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
