Other Local Shelters/Rescues We Support 

Parrot Adoption Education Program: We are a volunteer-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located and working in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota established in November of 2000.

ParrotHelp.com: Our aim is to improve the lives of captive parrots by providing educational information and tools to current and prospective parrot owners. We also offer rescue, re-homing and support services in the Minneapolis / St Paul, MN metropolitan area.

Homeward Animal Shelter (Fargo/Moorhead Area):   Homeward Animal Shelter (formerly Humane Society Fargo-Moorhead) is a local and community-funded, non-profit animal shelter. Its mission is: “Rescue. Shelter. Protect. Rehome.”.  It provides a second chance at happiness to lost, abandoned and owner-surrendered animals and educates the community in the proper, loving and kind treatment of animals.

Adopt-A-Pet of Fargo/Moorhead:   Non-profit organization with the primary goal of placing rescued pets in loving and responsible homes.

Diamond in the Ruff: Located in Fargo, ND, Diamond In The Ruff Pet Rescue is a 501c3 organization concerned with the welfare of animals.


Cat's Cradle:   The Cat’s Cradle Shelter is a no-kill shelter for rescued cats and kittens. Our residents live in colonies of 6-10 cats in individual units based on compatibility. 

4 Luv of Dog: We are based in Fargo, North Dakota. The majority of our dogs are in foster homes, with a few residing at our facility.

North Dakota Reptiles Rescue and Education:  This is a newer organization that is currently working on achieving a 501(c)(3) non-profit status. They specialize in reptiles and amphibians.
